Students have the opportunity to broaden their horizons both professionally and artistically by participating in the numerous activities organised by SITAM-AB.
SITAM-AB has developed a strong European and International Profile. It participates in International Fashion and Design Exhibitions such as IGEDO in Dusseldorf, Herrenmode in Koln, Euromode – Textilia and Furnidec in Thessaloniki, various European Biennale, the International Fur Fair in Kastoria.
It has participated in the International Young Designers Fashion Shows in England (Kent Institute of Art and Design) and Holland (Katholike University in Niechmegen) with the aim of promoting creativity and innovation in Design and giving opportunities to young graduates.
Award winning students have received scholarships to Copenhagen in Denmark through the SAGA program for Fur Design, and participated in student exchange programs to many European countries such as England, Germany, Italy and Spain, in Colleges and Universities, through the Leonardo da Vinci initiative.
Finally, students participate in the school’s annual Fashion Show and Young Designers Exhibition where they present their work. Here they have the opportunity to present their personal collections to a broader audience and make professional contacts.
